AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit (SUP) on the property addressed as 140 Business Blvd., and being more fully described as: An approximate 0.402-acre tract described as Lots 5, 6 and a portion of Lot 7, Aiken Subdivision, in the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, located in the [HC] Heavy Commercial zoned district to allow for the operation of a "Tattoo Parlor/Body Piercing Studio" as depicted in the attached site plan incorporated herein as Exhibit 'A' under the following terms and conditions: 1. The term limit for the SUP shall be for one (1) year, after which it shall automatically expire and become null and void (expires May 7, 2020). The applicant may submit for renewal prior to the one-year expiration of the SUP. Any subsequent SUP shall be reviewed based on those operational, planning, performance and compatibility issues of the use. SECTION 6. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
