In conjunction with its regular November meeting, the Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District Board of Directors will be holding a public hearing to consider and potentially take action to amend the District's "Temporary Rules for Water Wells in Hood, Montague, Parker, and Wise Counties, Texas" in order to amend one or more definitions in the rules to achieve consistency with Chapter 36 of the Texas Water Code.
A copy of the "Temporary Rules for Water Wells in Hood, Montague, Parker, and Wise Counties, Texas" that includes the proposed amendments can be reviewed at the District's office: 1250 E HWY 199, Springtown, TX, may be requested by email at doug@uppertrinitygcd.com, or may be viewed online at:

Any person who desires to appear at the hearing and present testimony, evidence, or other information on the proposed changes to District Rules may do so in person, by counsel, or both. Testimony may be presented verbally or in written form. Limits may be placed on the amount of time that each person is allowed to testify. The hearing posted in this notice may be recessed from day to day or continued where appropriate.
