Brazos Electric Power Cooperative is proposing to construct a new communication tower at the site of the Abby Bend substation at 1990 County Road 326, Cleburne, Texas, 76033. The proposed lattice communication tower would be 110 feet in height and a 12-foot lightning rod would be mounted at the top of the tower, for a total height of 122 feet. The tower is designed to accommodate the installation of antennas at elevations of 95 and 80 feet above ground level. The tower would be enclosed within a chain-link fence with gated access.
