AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 06-190, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting Multiple-Family (MF) zoning on a tract situated in the U. Martin Survey, Abstract No. 384, and the Joshua Minnett Survey, Abstract No.351, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and being more fully described as: An approximate 15. 6-acre tract of land described by deed to Silverado Life Reinsurance Company as recorded in Document No. 2010-0011966, Deed Records, Hood County, Texas (DRHCT), and John E. Westhoff, Trustee of the Durant Grantor TrustA&B being a portion of a tract of land described by deed to Silverado Life Reinsurance Company, as recorded in Document No. 2010-0012518, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds on Exhibit 'A' - Legal Description and Zoning Exhibit 'B'. SECTION 7. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 9. The City Secretary of the City of Granbury is hereby directed to publish in the official newspaper of the City of Granbury, the caption, Section 1, penalty clause, and effective date clause of this Ordinance one time as required by Section 2.13 of the Charter of the City of Granbury. SECTION 10. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and publication as required by law, and it is so ordained. PASSED AND APPROVED ON FEBRUARY 7, 2017. This ordinance is on file in the Office of the City Secretary, 116 W Bridge St and can be seen in its entirety Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
