The City of Granbury is soliciting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Sealed Bids must be delivered to Rick Crownover, 401 N. Park Street, Granbury, Texas 76048 no later than Thursday, December 01, 2016 at 2:00 PM The Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and place. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Address Bids to Rick Crownover.

Contract Documents may downloaded or viewed free of charge at this web site. It is the downloader's responsibility to determine that a complete set of documents, as defined in the Instructions to Bidders are received.
Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications may be obtained from the office of Freese & Nichols, Inc., 4055 International Plaza, Suite 200, Fort Worth, Texas 76109-4895, Attention: Construction Services, for a non-refundable deposit of 150 dollars ($150.00) per half size set of plans and specifications.
Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the Project with the Owner within 15 days of Notice of Award of the Contract. The security must be payable to Owner in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid submitted. Contractor must execute the Contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents.
Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the Contract Documents.
Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required.
The Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the Bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating bid prices, to reject any or all Bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within 90 days from date on which bids are opened.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on November 17, 2016, 2:00 PM at 401 N. Park Street, Granbury, Texas 76048.
