AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 16-50 WHICH APOPTED THE 2016 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS; BY AMENDING THE MAP OF THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN [FLUP], CONTAINED WITHIN THE 2016 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE MAP OF THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
ORDINANCE NO. 23-58
AN ORDINANCE, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
SECTION 1.
Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by rezoning the hereinafter property and area; described as property as a 0.86 acre tract of land described as part Lots 2 and 4, Block 167 Thrash Addition, addressed as 1001 W. Pearl St., in City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas: From Residential 10,000 [R-10] to Light Commercial [LC]
SECTION 6.
Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
ORDINANCE NO. 23-59

Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by rezoning the hereinafter property and area; described a 2.17-acre tract of the W.G. Terrell Survey, Abstract $562, addressed as 4226 E US Hwy 377 in City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas: From Light Commercial [LC] to Heavy Commercial [HC]
SECTION 6.

ORDINANCE NO. 23-61
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024; PROVIDING FOR POSTING AND FILING OF BUDGET; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
ORDINANCE NO. 23-62
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, LEVYING TAXES FOR THE TAX YEAR 2023-2024; ENACTING PROVISIONS INCIDENT AND RELATING TO THE SUBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
SECTION 5.
If the tax is unpaid after January 31, 2024, such tax will become delinquent and penalty and interest will attach and accrue as provided by Texas Tax Code, Section 33.01.
SECTION 6.
As provided by Texas Tax Code, Section 33.07, in the event the taxes become delinquent and remain delinquent on July 1, 2024 and in the event, such delinquent taxes are referred to an attorney for collection, an additional penalty in the amount of compensation to be paid in connection with the collection of the delinquent taxes as specified in the contract with the attorney shall be added as collection costs to be paid by the taxpayer.
