AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 14-596, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting the "PD/R-7" Planned Development/R-7 Residential Zoning District on a tract of the Martin Setzer Survey, Abstract No. 502, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and being more fully described as: An approximate 3.665-acre tract of Martin Setzer Survey, Abstract No. 502, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, Attached as: Exhibit 'A' - Legal Description Requirements for "PD/R-7" Planned Development/R-7 Residential Zoning District (Standards or Requirements that are not listed as follows must meet the requirements in Section 5.7 of the Zoning Ordinance, R-7 Residential District and what is presented below and on the attached Site or Development Plans; SECTION 7. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 9. The City Secretary of the City of Granbury is hereby directed to publish in the official newspaper of the City of Granbury, the caption, Section 1, penalty clause, publication clause and effective date clause of this Ordinance one time as required by Section 2.13 of the Charter of the City of Granbury. PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS THE 6TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2016. This ordinance is on file in the Office of the City Secretary, 116 W Bridge St and can be seen in its entirety Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
