The City of Granbury Public Works Department and Hood County Development Department, hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between State Highway 377 and approximately 2400 feet downstream of State Highway 377. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 22-06-0318R for a proposed project on Lake Granbury along the Brazos River. Realty Capital is proposing to place fill on the property as part of the planned mixed use lakefront development that will include single-family and multi-family sites, public parks, retail, restaurant and hotel sites.
Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request should be submitted that will, in part, revise the following flood hazards along the Brazos River or Lake Granbury.
1. Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) will decrease along the Brazos River.
2. The SFHA will increase and decrease along the Brazos River.
Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the City of Granbury Public Works Department at 401 North Park Street, Granbury, Texas 76048. Interested persons may call the Flood Plain Administrator at 682.205.1698 for additional information from Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
