Notice is hereby given that the City of Cresson has received a request for variance from its subdivision regulations from Cresson Custom Homes, LLC related to a proposed residential subdivision development to be known as The Hills of Cresson, and to be located on a tract of land situated in the Nancy Smith Survey, Abstract No. 512, Hood County, Texas, and being a portion of a tract of land described in the deed to Cresson Crossroads, LLC, as described in Volume 2225, Page 263, Deed Records, Hood County, Texas, said tract of land being more particularly described by metes and bounds, available for review in the City Secretary's office. On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 7:00 P.M., a public hearing will be held by the City of Cresson City Council at the Cresson City Hall, 8901 Hwy. 377, Cresson, Texas 76035, to receive public input on this request for variance. The request for variance includes the following:
1) variances from Section 5-3 of the Subdivision Regulations regarding street standards; 2) variances from Section 5-4 of the Subdivision Regulations regarding sidewalk standards; and 3) variances from Section 5-8 of the Subdivision Regulations regarding drainage standards.
This meeting is open to the public. All interested parties are invited to attend. The Cresson City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Requests for accommodation or other services must be made 48 hours in advance.
