The following Public Hearings will be considered by the PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION of the City of Granbury on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. The Public Hearings will also be considered by the GRANBURY CITY COUNCIL on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. All Public Hearings will be held within the Council Chambers of Granbury City Hall, 116 W. Bridge Street, Granbury, Texas.
1. Z-2021-15, Request of Snikwah, LP to rezone a 26.82-acre tract of the John Chenowith Survey, Abstract #108 from Interim Holding [IH] District to Planned Development / Single Family Residential District 7,000 [PD/R-7]. The property is located west of Weatherford Hwy., north of Hunter Park.
2. SUP-2022-06, Request of George Brumbaugh for an addition to a manufactured home. The property is addressed 809 Holly Hills Cemetery Rd.
3. SUP-2021-25, Request of Lars Anderson & Associates, Inc. for Home Depot for a Specific Use Permit to allow "Trailer Sales/Rentals", "Construction Equipment Sales/Rentals", "Portable Building Sales" and Outdoor Storage in a Heavy Commercial [HC] zoning district. The property is addressed as 415 E Hwy 377.
4. O-2022-02, Request of the City of Granbury to amend select sections of the City of Granbury Subdivision Ordinance. Amendments proposed are to Section 2.6.B Approval authority for amending plat, to remove the 21- calendar day approval term for staff approval of amending plats.
5. O-2022-03, Request of the City of Granbury to amend select sections of the City of Granbury Zoning Ordinance pertaining to the addition of short-term rentals. Amendments proposed are to Section 4.1.A - Uses Permitted by District; Section 4.2 - Supplemental Standards for Land Uses; Section 11.2.D - Parking Table; and, Section 2.3 - Land Use Definitions.
6. O-2022-04, Request of the City of Granbury to amend select sections of the City Code of Ordinances pertaining to the addition of short-term rentals. Amendments proposed are to add Article 4.16 - Short Term Rental Regulations and Provisions; Article 6.06 - Smoking; Article 13.04 - Water System Rates and Rules; and, Article 13.08 - Electric System Rates and Rules.
7. CP-2022-01, Request of the City of Granbury to amend the Thoroughfare Plan contained within the 2016 Comprehensive Plan.
