AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
SECTION 1.
Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a renewal of Specific Use Permit #12-518 for a 'Taxidermy Shop' on an approximate 3.48 acre tract of land contained within Lot 1, Block 1 of the Daffan Addition, addressed as 1302 N. Weatherford Hwy, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, located within a 'PD' Planned Development/Industrial zoned district [PD/I], and being more fully described as:
An approximate 3.48 acre tract of land contained within Lot 1, Block 1 of the Daffan Addition, addressed as 1302 N. Weatherford Hwy, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, for a 'Taxidermy Shop' to be operated on-site and in conformance with the City of Granbury, Zoning Ordinance under the following terms and conditions:
a) The Specific Use Permit shall automatically expire 1 year from City Council approval, and;
b) All outdoor lighting, including parking lot lighting, shall be directed away from any property zoned or developed for residential uses.
c) No on-site animal processing such as deer processing, where carcasses or other wastes would be present.
SECTION 6.
Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
