AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit (SUP) on the property located on an approximate 0.177 acre portion of land described more fully as: An approximate 0.177-acre portion of land described as a portion of Lot 4, Block 26, Thrash Addition, located at 124 S. Travis St., within the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and located within the Single Family Residential 'R-7' zoned district. The Specific Use Permit (SUP) shall be issued to allow for the operation of a two (2) guest-suite, un-hosted Bed and Breakfast facility under the following terms and conditions: 1. Supplemental Standards 1 & 18 from Section 4.2 of the Zoning Ordinance including wired smoke alarms and all other listed requirements shall apply to this Bed/Breakfast and shall be confirmed prior to any B/B activity; and; 2. The Specific Use Permit shall automatically expire 3 years from City Council approval (expires 6.4.2023). SECTION 6. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
