AN ORDINANCE, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Granbury, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit (SUP) on the property located on an approximate 13.24-acre portion of land platted as the Hood County Hospital District, addressed as 1324 Paluxy Highway, within the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and located in a Planned Development with a base zoning district of Business Commercial [PD/BC].
The Specific Use Permit (SUP) shall be issued to allow a 'Heliport', as defined by the City of
Granbury Zoning Ordinance under the following terms and conditions:
1. No re-fueling, fuel storage or maintenance shall take place on the property;
2. LGMC shall maintain the appropriate markings and lights for the Heliport in conformance with the FAA Advisory Circular;
3. The SUP for the heliport shall be tied to the existing hospital use with no term limit; however, should the hospital use vacate the site, then the SUP shall automatically become null and void.
SECTION 5.
Any person, firm, or corporation, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not more the Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
