AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit (SUP) on the property located on an approximate 1.089-acre portion of land described as Tract 8, Block 3, Southtown Plaza Addition, addressed as 1459 N Plaza Dr., within the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and being more fully described as: An approximate 1.089-acre portion of land described as Tract 8, Block 3, Southtown Plaza Addition, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas located at 1459 N Plaza Dr. in a Heavy Commercial [HC] zoning district. The Specific Use Permit (SUP) shall be issued to allow for Auto Sales, Used and Boat Sales, Used and Repair with the flowing conditions: 1. Parking/storage of the boats and/or autos for sale will be limited to no more than 3 and this hall be cumulative of all autos and boats together on the site; 2. Parking of the boats and autos for sale will be designated to the parking spaces located on the south east side of the building (along Calinco) as depicted in the site plan attached to the adoption ordinance as Exhibit 'A'; 3. Supplemental Standards 8, 12, 13 and 14 from Section 4.2 of the Zoning Ordinance shall apply to this Specific Use Permit request; 4. The Specific Use Permit shall automatically expire 1 year from City Council approval (expires 8.6.2020). SECTION 6. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. These ordinances are on file in the Office of the City Secretary, 116 W Bridge St. and can be seen in its entirety Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
