AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 17-41 AND 17-42, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit for a the placement of two (2) cargo containers on a 4.6 acre tract of land platted as Lot 1, Block 1, Thrift Mart Addition, addressed as 1820 Acton Hwy, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, located within a 'HC' Heavy Commercial zoned district, and being more fully described as: 4.6 acre tract of land platted as Lot 1, Block 1, Thrift Mart Addition, addressed as 1820 Acton Hwy, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and located within the 'HC' Heavy Commercial zoned district, with a Specific Use Permit (SUP) to allow for the placement of two (2) 'Cargo Container' as defined by the City of Granbury Zoning Ordinance and as depicted on the attached site plan and in accordance with the following terms and conditions: a. The length of the container shall not exceed 40 lineal feet, b. The color of the container shall match the exterior of the building/store, and; c. The term of the placement of the container shall be for (1) one year after which the allowance for placement shall become null and void. d. One (1) cargo container shall be located in the loading dock area on the east side of the building (outside of the fire lane) and one (1) cargo container shall be located on the south edge of the building within an existing grass area. Locations of cargo containers are depicted on Exhibit 'A', attached herein, for reference. SECTION 6. Any person, firm or corporation, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
